Christmas windows

Growing up in the New York City area, the center of my TV universe was New York City. The Christmas season kicked off with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade and next were all the store windows.  The competition between major department stores is amazing, and not just here but world wide. Here are a few to enjoy.

It can be so much fun to walk slowly along the window displays, watching the animations. Definitely adds to the excitement!!!

If you have never seen any of these major displays, think about planning a trip for sometime in December to enjoy!!

I remember a kid, my Mom would plan a big trip to Philadelphia where the major department stores not only had store window displays but large rooms filled with animated “dolls”. They would be ice skating, slieghing, cooking turkey dinner, decorating the trees. And we would spend the afternoon ohhhhing and awwwwwing over each and every display.

  2. For your business, do you get overseas at all? The displays in the major cities in Europe are great also.
